
NASHVILLE – Downtown Nashville will be making a few traffic adjustments in preparation for “The 43rd Annual CMA Awards,” airing on the ABC Television Network, Wednesday, Nov. 11 (7:00-10:00 PM/CT) from the Sommet Center in Nashville. Production set-up for the CMA Awards will require special traffic patterns.
Sunday, Nov. 8
· Beginning at 6:00 AM/CT, Demonbreun will be closed between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue.
Wednesday, Nov. 11
· Beginning at 10:00 AM/CT, Fifth Avenue South will be closed from Franklin Street to Broadway.
· Also at 10:00 AM/CT, the closure of Demonbreun will expand from Fourth Avenue to Sixth Avenue.
· Beginning at 3:30 PM/CT, additional road closures include: Clark Place between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue; Sixth Avenue between Broadway and Peabody Street; Franklin Street between Fourth Avenue and Sixth Avenue; and the Demonbreun closure will expand to include the blocks between Fourth Avenue and Seventh Avenue.
All roads will re-open no later than 2:00 AM/CT on Thursday, Nov. 12; except Demonbreun between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue, which will re-open at 6:00 PM/CT.
