WLA equips participants with essential leadership skills and promotes a culture of mutual support among women. The program offers educational sessions, bi-monthly group coaching and more. WLA not only facilitates a conducive environment for collaboration and trust building but also fosters a network among the women of the Country Music format.
“We are thrilled to announce the return of the Women’s Leadership Academy in 2024,” says Tiffany Kerns, Senior Vice President, Industry Relations and Philanthropy. “With a commitment to delivering tailored, top-tier professional development, we are amazed by the evolution of this program since its inception in 2022. It’s been truly rewarding to witness the growth of a supportive community within the Country Music industry, empowering women to thrive together and fostering a robust alumni network. We are eager to welcome a new class this year!”
Participants of the 2024 Women’s Leadership Academy will begin their journey establishing individual goals before connecting with one another for group sessions. The program will be led by new, expert executive coaches Lisa Gamble of Gamble Coaching & Consulting LLC and Nicole Provonchee of Bright Blue Consulting. Gamble and Provonchee come with decades of experience developing, leading and measuring the success of leadership development programs and have a passion for supporting women leaders in their personal and professional growth. About the Country Music Association
Founded in 1958, the Country Music Association is the first trade organization formed to promote a type of music. CMA created the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1961 to recognize artists and industry professionals with Country Music’s highest honor. Music industry professionals and companies across the U.S. and around the globe are members of CMA. The organization serves as an educational and professional resource for the industry and advances the growth of Country Music around the world. This is accomplished through CMA’s core initiatives: the CMA Awards, which annually recognize outstanding achievement in the industry; CMA Fest, which benefits the CMA Foundation and music education and is taped for a three-hour network television special, “CMA Fest”; and “CMA Country Christmas.” All of CMA’s television properties air on ABC.
