CMA Research: Members’ Look Into the Future of Country Music

One of CMA’s priorities as a trade organization is to provide our members with resources to help foster and grow the Country genre. Research is one of the most valuable ways CMA provides these resources. As a key source of Country Music research and a premier research provider for the Country genre, we aim to uncover data, trends and insights around audience and genre growth, as well as identify strategies needed to remain a robust genre while equipping our industry with tools to further the ever-changing Country Music landscape.  

Most recently, CMA, in partnership with Horowitz Research Group, launched an extensive study focused on Country Music’s multicultural audience. The study captured insights around the multicultural music environment, as well as an in-depth look at how the multicultural audience impacts total Country consumption from an audience size and engagement perspective. Our goal is to see this research incorporated in businesses across the globe, informing strategic decision-making and developing a knowledge base that will be built upon into the future.
