CMA HOSTS MEMBERSIPS EVENT FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY
CMA’s Ongoing MemberSIPS Programming Offers Country Music Professionals the Opportunity to Gather and Discuss Critical Issues Facing the Business
CMA welcomed CMA members to its Nashville headquarters on Tuesday, Feb. 28 for a MemberSIPS event featuring a group of young leaders for a conversation about the future of the music industry. Moderated by Michael Farris, CMA Senior Director, Business Strategy & Insights, attendees engaged in an open-ended conversation about the challenges and opportunities the music business is currently facing, including Country’s share in the marketplace and obstacles the genre is grappling with.
As the premier trade association supporting individuals within the Country Music industry, CMA created MemberSIPS to cater to its members’ professional development needs—offering thematic presentations, discussions and gatherings, and providing members a networking opportunity while enjoying a beverage with one another.
CMA members can look forward to the next MemberSIPS on Thursday, March 23 as the organization hosts “The Power of Women and Connection.” Members can check their inboxes for more information or reach out directly to the CMA Membership team at [email protected].
