CMA Hosts MemberSIPS Event Focused On Streaming Fraud

THE COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION HOSTS MEMBERSIPS EVENT FOCUSED ON STREAMING FRAUD

CMA’s Ongoing MemberSIPS Programming Offers Country Music Professionals the Opportunity to
Gather and Discuss Important Topics in the Music Business

The Country Music Association welcomed CMA members to its Nashville HQ on Thursday, April 11 for a MemberSIPS event focused on streaming fraud and the impact it has throughout the music industry.

Andrew Batey, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Beatdapp, the foremost authority in fraud detection, led an interactive presentation and Q&A session. Batey dove into the world of music streaming fraud with real case studies, data and examples of invaluable insights into this pervasive issue. Members learned how fraudulent activities impact music labels, managers, distributors and artists, and discovered actionable strategies to safeguard themselves and the talents they represent.

As the premier trade association supporting individuals within the Country Music industry, CMA created MemberSIPS to cater to its members’ professional development needs—offering thematic presentations, discussions and gatherings, and providing members a networking opportunity with like-minded professionals while enjoying a beverage with one another.

Members can check their inboxes for more information about the next MemberSIPS event or reach out directly to CMA’s Membership team at [email protected].
